Why we use what we do?

We pride ourselves on transparency at ELEAT.

So, we’ve provided a list of all the ingredients used within our four flavours. For each flavour, we’ve explained why we’ve used them for their nutritional benefits but also their role within the manufacturing process.

Core ingredients found in all flavours

Rice Flour – Naturally gluten free, rice flour is high in soluble fibre. It provides a fantastic base for our cereal by providing the great texture and crunch of ELEAT.

Soy Protein Isolate – Soy protein is the only commercially viable plant-based source of high quality complete protein. With a protein digestibility corrected amino acid score of (PDCAAS) of 1.0, it offers protein quality that’s comparable ton dairy, eggs and meat.

Chicory Root Inulin – Inulin, derived from chicory root, is a naturally occurring prebiotic fibre that helps boost the gut and contributes to normal bowel function.

Sunflower Protein – Our organic sunflower protein is sourced from sustainably grown sunflowers. Packed with all 9 essential amino acids; B vitamins to help maintain good wellbeing and polyphenols to help with good blood circulation.

Chickpea Flour – Our Chickpea flour provides a healthy protein punch, a great source of dietary fibre and numerous fatty acids to help boost you inside and out. Did you know that chickpeas are one of the most sustainable sources of protein on the planet?

Natural Flavouring – We only use natural flavouring, meaning it is 100% derived from natural sources.

Sunflower Oil - Our high oleic sunflower oil is used within the coating process of our production, where we add the perfect balance of flavour and sweetness. 

Salt – We use a very small amount of added salt in our recipe. This helps within the manufacturing extrusion process, helping the cereal to expand and create our great texture and crunch.

Stevia (Steviol glycosides) – Derived from a natural stevia plant, Stevia is a zero calorie sweetener that is 200 times stronger than sugar in the same concentration. This helps us achieve the subtle sweetness of ELEAT with only a fraction of naturally occurring sugar.

Rosemary Extract – Rosemary extract is a natural anti-oxidant which helps keep the product as fresh as possible and allows for a 12-month shelf life.

Ingredients specific to certain flavours:

Cocoa Powder – Helps provide the rich, chocolatey flavour of our Chocolate Triumph.

Cinnamon – A natural spice that helps provide the sensation of our Cinnamon flavour.

Strawberry Powder – Is created by dehydrating natural strawberries and helps create that blitz of flavour.

Citric Acid & Maltodextrin – Citric acid, commonly derived from lemon juice, acts as a preservative in food to help maintain freshness. Maltodextrin is used to add volume to the strawberry coating.

Fruit Concentrate – We use natural fruit concentrate from blackcurrant, apple and radish to help create the vibrant colour of our strawberry flavour.
